The Dark Past of Malok

It all began hundreds of years ago, with the birth of a wolf known as Malok. His name was another language for ‘demon’. His fur was as black as the empty void of space, while his eyes were the silver-blue of freshly forged steel. He had no father – he had died but suns before the pup’s birth. His early days were gnarled with violence and cruelty – his mother treated him like he was an insect. He had no friends and was hated by the alpha of his pack. He was an outcast.
Until she came along.
Her name was Syra – the same language for ‘beauty’ – and she was the only one

Prologue of Malok: The DemonPrologue
A single wolf threaded through the reaching tree trunks, leaving a clear trail in the freshly fallen snow. He sped along, nimbly weaving and maneuvering his way like a dark shadow. His fur was as black as the bottom of a deep-ocean trench, and his eyes the metallic silver-blue of the snowy midmorning sky. A tough scar reached from his left shoulder to his tail, a reminder of past times and sign to others that he was stronger than any normal wolf. He cursed himself for his stupidity; he never should have left the pack. Now he was hopelessly lost, searching through the forest with no set target. The sky wasn Prologue of Malok: The Demon

I've been doing really good, actually. Made a major accomplishment in school by being one of three seventh graders in the All-City band (which is made up of the best players in the whole city area.)

So how've you been doing?
